Bekend Maakt Bemind, an initiative by Vluchtelingenwerk Nederland, hosts gatherings where ex-refugees tell about their life before coming to the Netherlands, and who they are today. The idea behind these events is that when we truly listen to each other and hear each other’s story, we can stimulate empathy and acceptance.

Bekend Maakt Bemind is looking for companies who would like to invest in diversity and inclusion by sponsoring one of these events. For 500,-, Bekend Maakt Bemind hosts one of their events for your employees, as well as a session at a primary or highschool. That way, your company also supports the promotion of diversity and inclusion for younger generations.
